Livi got back to winning ways on Saturday with a hard fought victory over Forfar Athletic at Station Park.
The match was settled by a solitary goal from Robbie Winters after the veteran striker finished off a fine passing move by drilling the ball past Loons' keeper Ally Brown after only 13 minutes.
The home side enjoyed the better chances thereafter and may consider themselves unfortunate not to have earned a point.
Chris Templeman went close just after the half hour, scooping the ball wide after he got on the end of Kevin Gordon's cross.
A few minutes later he thought he had found the net with a header, but the ball was scrambled clear by Cammy MacDonald after coming down off the crossbar.
Despite enjoying their fair share of the ball, the Lions struggled to create chances throughout.
Forfar had a goalbound effort cleared off the line by Kyle Jacobs in the second half, and it was only in the final few minutes that Livi looked likely to add a killer second goal.
Robbie Winters screwed a shot wide from a tight angle with four minutes left, and in injury time was denied a clear goalscoring opportunity when he was impeded when clean through on goal.
Referee Brian Colvin waved play on after that incident, to the disbelief of many within the ground, but the final whistle blew shortly afterwards and Livi returned south with a valuable three points.
