Albion Rovers 0 - 2 Livingston

Jim Hamilton's penalty and an injury time strike from Stevie Tosh were enough to ease Livi to all 3 points in a dull encounter at Cliftonhill.

A cold dark night in Coatbridge was reflected on the field of play in a game lacking much in the way of excitement. The home side had a few chances early on, but the only real highlight of the first half was a Robbie Winters effort which struck the bar.

The second 45 was a far more lively affair fortunately, with Rovers having to clear off their own line to prevent an early Livi lead. But the game burst into life just after the hour mark when Rovers' Phil McGrath brought down Winters in the box to earn a penalty for Livi - and a red card for himself. "Flipper" Hamilton duly despatched the spot kick to score his second goal in two games back at Almondvale.

10 man Rovers did well to hold the Lions at bay till stoppage time, but were finally broken when Stevie Tosh slotted home from 12 yards out to secure all 3 points for the Almondvale side.
