Football team wear specialist, Football Nation, is delighted to sponsor the Livingston FC Community Coaching Team and provide all the community coaches with new Umbro Performance Training Clothing.
Each coach has been provided with tracksuits, rain jackets and t-shirts to ensure that they can concentrate on providing excellent coaching whilst still remaining comfortable and dry no matter the weather.
Livingston Football Club is continuing to produce a vibrant and active community programme designed to support the development of football from the grassroots level and to nurture the passion for Livingston FC in West Lothian and the surrounding area. By providing support to the Community Coaches, Football Nation hopes that a further generation of players may develop into stars of the calibre of Graeme Dorrans, the ex-Livingston player who recently made his Hampden Park debut for Scotland.
Livingston FC Community Manager Leigh Robertson is delighted with the new kit. “We have 10 coaches involved in community training and coaching within West Lothian. We see over 500 kids every week, coaching at local schools and also at the facilities here at Almondvale Stadium. The kids aged between 6-14 years old will take part in a variety of football training, drills and matches. We work hard all week and it’s important for us to be comfortable and well kitted out. It helps us provide what we feel is an important facility for the keen footballers of the future in West Lothian."
Football Nation director, Steven Dow says, "The work of the Community Team at Livingston FC often goes unheralded but they are fully deserved of this support. It’s great seeing kids taking an active interest in football as opposed to hanging around street corners. The work that Leigh and her team perform makes a real difference not only to the club but more importantly the local community."
