Livingston 2 - 1 Stranraer

Livi took another giant stride towards the Title this afternoon with their third win from four over Stranraer, helped by East Stirlingshire's surprise 3-2 home defeat to bottom club Montrose.

After a fairly uneventful opening, Liam Fox bagged his 9th goal of the season to put Livi ahead on 27 minutes, appearing at the near post to nod a Danny Griffin's corner high into the net.

And with the dust having just settled on that goal, Robbie Winters doubled Livi's advantage 2 minutes later, heading a flighted cross from Barr past Blues' keeper David Mitchell.

Stranraer caused a late scare by pulling a goal back through a Michael Moore volley, but this proved to be a consolation only as Livi held on for the win.
