Livingston FC Supporters Football team FC Livingston GS are heading down to Leeds on Friday 23rd July to play in the annual supporters football tournament WorldNet.
WorldNET10 is the 15th annual tournament organised by the Internet Football Association (IFA). As in recent times, the event takes place at the University of Leeds' Bodington Hall and features the 60 team IFA Cup and the Jonny Bramley Plate competition.
Friday evening kicks off the weekend with the IFA England vs Scotland International.
Over the weekend, all teams will play a series of 15 minute per-half group and knockout games. This continues the usual activity throughout the season when teams of IFA supporters meet to play (usually) in the morning before their "big" teams thrash it out in the afternoon.
GS have been drawn in Group C along with Hull City, Ipswich Town & Halifax AFC - with a friendly match against Sheffield Utd squeezed in for good measure.
There are also two players selected to play in the 'Auld Enemy International' on the Friday night, with Tom Cheeseman pulling on the three Lions of England and Dave Black sporting two lions less for Scotland.
GS will be looking to go one step further than last year, when they made it to the last 16 before bowing out to the competitions' eventual winners, West Bromwich Albion.
We will provide updates on the team's fortunes as the competition progresses, and they will leave for Leeds with the very best wishes from Livingston FC.
