Livi & Football Nation unveil new Umbro kit

Livingston FC and Football Nation are delighted to announce a renewed partnership which will see the Lions wear exciting new Umbro kit for their assault on next season's Irn Bru First Division.

A specialist football retailer and teamwear supplier, Football Nation will provide Livingston with home and away playing kit, coaching and training wear as well as a large range of replica and leisurewear for the club shop.

Umbro's heritage in the supply of football teamwear is second to none.  For over eighty years, Umbro has been 'the kit of choice' for many of football's most famous names, and Livingston will benefit from that market leading expertise in their return to the First Division for season 2011-12.

Livi’s striking new home and away shirts are made from a 150gm² textured warp kit polyester fabric. A retro styled stand collar with concealed popper placket tops off a fitted upper back shoulder yoke.

Twin needle stitch reinforcement and breathable mesh underarm panels add function, durability and comfort to the shirt. Bold contrast shoulder panelling adds a very modern look to the new kits.

The home kit is in the club's traditional amber and black colours, with the new white and navy away kit providing a fresh, contrasting alternative.

Steven Dow, director of Football Nation said: “Football Nation has been supplying football team kit solutions to clubs big and small for five years and we're delighted to renew our association with Livingston.

“Our partnership with Umbro allows us to combine their vast experience in the manufacturing of football teamwear with our delivery of first class service and advice.

“We pride ourselves on ensuring that every team’s needs are precisely measured up and the perfect kit solution delivered, from professional clubs to public parks.”

Charles Burnett, Livingston FC's Commercial Director added: “We're delighted to have Football Nation back on board for the new season and are sure that the new Umbro kit will prove very popular with players and supporters alike.”

Specific release dates for the replica kits have yet to be determined, however it is expected that the away kit will be available for purchase first, around mid June 2011.
