A group of our youth players have received a boost after receiving new kit, courtesy of Valente's Fish and Chicken Bar in Bathgate.

Valente's have supplied the players with a full set of top quality Umbro kit in the same design as the Lions first team.

The Under 14 team is one of three Livingston sides which competes against other SFL clubs in the Club Academy Scotland initiative system - the others being Under 13 and Under 15.

Club chairman Gordon McDougall has a particular passion for youth football and expressed his thanks today to Valente's for their generous sponsorship.

He said: "Developing young players is what we are all about at Livingston but the running costs are considerable and that's a big challenge with the way the world is at the moment.

"So we're really grateful that a local business like Valente's has stepped up to support the club as a whole, and the Under 14 players and coaches in particular."
