Young midfielder Ross Gray has rejoined Third Division play-off contenders Berwick Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

Ross will head back over the Border to Shielfield Park after impressing for Berwick in a two-month loan spell earlier in the season, when he featured regularly and scored his first senior goal in a 5-3 win over Montrose.

On competing the deal, chief executive Ged Nixon said: "Ross did particularly well for Berwick during his earlier spell down there and we see this extended loan as being beneficial for all parties - ourselves, Berwick and obviously Ross himself.

"He'll have a chance to play regular games, which is important at this stage of his career."
