Kevin McCann has today signed a short term contract with the club which will run until the end of this season.

The former Hibernian and Morton defender has featured in our last three games as a trialist, impressing in right back and central defensive roles.

A player can only play a maximum of three trial matches for one club, and with manager John Hughes keen to hold onto him, McCann has been offered and has accepted contract terms.

Capped at Under 20 and Under 21 international level in the past, the 24-year old is eligible to take part in our remaining seven Irn Bru First Division matches.
