All set for the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup final

The Braidwood Motor Company Stadium is hosting the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup final for the first time this Sunday, and it's set to be a day to remember.

One of the showpiece occasions in the Scottish football calendar, the Junior Cup final brings the curtain down on a truly nationwide competition, contested by over 160 clubs from the length and breadth of Scotland.

This season, the finalists are nine times winners and defending champions Auchinleck Talbot and Shotts Bon Accord, who are competing in their first final since 1958, when they defeated Pumpherston Juniors at Hampden Park to win the trophy for the one and only time.

Large numbers of supporters are expected to travel from Auchinleck and Shotts for what is always a fantastic community occasion.

While the match itself, a 4.05pm kick off, is the centrepiece of the day, supporters of both clubs, and neutrals, are invited to come along to the Stadium early to soak up the big match atmosphere - especially with the weather forecast looking good for the weekend!

A Family Fun Area will be in operation on our Fieldturf pitch behind the East Stand, while both the Stadium Bar and Almondvale Suite are open from 12.30pm, the latter offering food as well as bar refreshments.

And for the first time, we will also have a Carlsberg Beer Tent in operation at the north west corner of the Stadium!

Admission to the match is pay-at-the-gate - £10 for adults and £4 for concessions.
