Livingston 0 - 2 Dundee
(HT 0 - 2)

Milne (9)
Conroy (17 pen)

Livi crashed out of the William Hill Scottish Cup after going down to two early goals from SPL side Dundee at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium.

The visitors got off to a fast start and Steven Milne gave them the lead when he was played in thanks to a slick through ball, and he kept it cool to slotted past Andy McNeil.

The Lions looked to respond, but they fell two behind only eight minutes later, Ryan Conroy sent McNeil the wrong way from the spot after Jesus Garcia Tena had been penalised for a foul on John Baird.

Livi could have pulled one back on 20 minutes when Liam Fox's shot from outside the box seemed to clearly strike a Dundee hand, but referee Crawford Allan waved play on.

Despite enjoying plenty of possession in the lead up to the break and then after half time, the Lions struggled to break down a well organised Dundee side.

Kyle Jacobs broke free on the right but saw his shot pushed past the post, and then with five minutes left Marc McNulty’s shot was held by Rab Douglas.

In between times Dundee had almost made it three, but Declan Gallagher's close range shot was well saved by McNeil, and then Garcia Tena turned a dangerous cross over the bar under pressure from Dundee attackers.
