Livingston FC are delighted to confirm that we have completed a pre-contract agreement with striker Calum Elliot.
The 26-year old has undertaken to sign for the 2013-14 season and will join up with the rest of our squad for pre-season training in July.
The move will mark a return to Almondvale for Calum, who spent the first half of the 2008-09 season on loan with us, scoring eleven goals in just fourteen first team appearances.
Originally a youth player with Hearts, for whom he made over 100 SPL appearances, Calum also spent time with Motherwell and Dundee during his Tynecastle days. More recently, he played for Lithuanian side Zalgiris Vilnius and had a trial spell with Houston Dynamo.
Calum joined Alloa Athletic after returning from the USA and has been a regular starter for the Wasps over the last couple of months.
"Calum will give us another option in forward areas," said Richie Burke after making his first 'signing' as Livingston manager.
"He's got a bit of physical presence and he'll add a dimension that we maybe don't have within the squad at the moment.
"He's got a good record for scoring goals at our level, so he'll be an important signing as we build towards next season.
"Calum spent some time training with us in the winter and although we weren't able to offer him anything at that point, I'm delighted that he's now agreed to become a Livingston player."
