Livingston Football Club is proud to announce the completion of a new three year sponsorship deal with Energy Assets Group plc, the leading independent provider of gas metering services to the UK industrial and commercial sector.
The company, which is based in Livingston, will be the club’s main sponsor and will lend both its name to the stadium, which will be known as “The Energy Assets Arena”, and its expertise in turning the ground into one of the most energy efficient in the country.
Charles Burnett, Commercial Director at Livingston FC, said:
“This is a highly significant partnership for the club, its players, supporters and the wider community. Energy Assets is one of the leading employers locally and I have been impressed by their commitment to support not just the first team, but to extend their involvement to the Livingston Youth Foundation, which reaches out to all corners of the West Lothian community.
With the formation of the new Scottish Professional Football League commencing in season 2013/14, an exciting play off structure and a new TV deal in place, I am sure our new partners will enjoy their involvement with the club.”
John McMorrow, Energy Assets Chief Financial Officer said:
“We are delighted to become the main sponsors of Livingston FC. We are very much part of the community and want to play our part in helping the club reach out further into West Lothian through its Youth Foundation Programme. Our team of experts will also be working closely with the club to introduce the very latest energy monitoring and reporting technology, so that we can help them develop one of the most energy sustainable stadia in the country.”
