John McGlynn’s strike force was given a boost on Friday night with the short term signing of Patrik Twardzik.
The 20 year old Czech hitman has penned a loan deal which will see him move from Celtic Park to the Energy Assets Arena till January 2014.
It’s not generally the club’s policy to sign loan players, however as Connor McDonald, Simon Mensing and Nejc Praprotnik were all doubtful ahead of yesterday’s clash with Morton, manager McGlynn and Director of Football Robert Wilson agreed cover was needed.
Patrik is left sided and can play in various positions. And he had an impressive debut at Cappielow, coming off the bench to set-up Marc McNulty’s third goal. So we look forward to seeing more of him in action.
