There was another new face at the Energy Assets Arena this afternoon as Mark Burchill unveiled David Hopkin as his new Assistant Head Coach.

David comes to Livingston with an impressive football pedigree, and boasts Crystal Palace, Bradford City and Leeds United in his list of previous clubs. As well as being a former Scotland internationalist, David spent 7 years in the English Premiership and 3 years in the Championship. His career total transfer fee is a staggering £8.4 million.

Burchill was clearly delighted to have Hopkin as his new No2.

"I've known David since we were in the Scotland squad together. He's a fantastic coach who's spent the last 3 years as assistant manager at Morton, in addition to being their U20 coach.

"I'm delighted to get him on board and look forward to making use of his vast footballing experience both north and south of the border."
