THE OFFSIDE rule proved the definitive talking point post-match as Andy Kirk's 89th minute ensured Dunfermline would take back the three points across the bridge in an end-to-end affair.

With Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre having subbed himself on at 2-2, it was his wise decision whilst in an offside position to leave the ball for an onside Kirk, who smashed the ball past Livi sub 'keeper Pierre Martini despite much protest from the Livingston defence.
