As for the game itself, Livi stopper Roddy McKenzie proved to be the hero of the hour, saving a last minute penalty for a Watson hand ball which would surely have delayed the promotion party for yet another week.

Prior to that it was shaping up to be yet another afternoon of near things, with Jason Talbot, Raffaele De Vita and Robbie Winters all coming close. But the final whistle brought the necessary point to ensure Livi could no longer be caught by Forfar Athletic in the race for the League crown.
