Livingston 2 - 0 Albion Rovers

Livi created a bit of history tonight as the four Jacobs brothers took to the field together for the first time in a senior competetive game. The last time such a feat happened being in the 19th century.

And the quartet played their part in securing another 3 points for the Lions, whilst puting a lareg dent into Rovers' playoff chances.

David Sinclair's spectacular 35-yard drive took a wicked deflection which left Rovers goalkeeper Jamie Ewings with no chance after 15 minutes to open the scoring.

Michael McGowan turned the ball into his own net three minutes later for Livi's second.

Dennis McLauchlin twice went close to reducing the deficit, but he could not find a way past U19's goalkeeper Darren Jamieson making a rare appearance for the first XI.

Rovers, who are at home to Stranraer in their final game on Saturday, are now a point behind fourth-top Queen's Park, who are away to second-placed Forfar Athletic.
