Livingston's Under 19 season ended in defeat as a very young side lost out narrowly to Queen of the South in a morning kick off at Glasgow Green.

Coach Brian Welsh gave several members of Sunday's victorious Under 17 League Cup winning side a chance to taste the next level against a strong Queens side.

Ross Docherty, a recent first team debutant at Alloa, scored the Livi goal in a 2-1 defeat.

The defeat ends a run of fifteen straight Under 19 Youth Division wins for the club.
