Our two most senior youth sides had mixed fortunes in their matches today.

The Under 17s continued their defence of the League Cup with a superb 7-0 win over Alloa on the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium Fieldturf this morning.

The win kept up their 100% record in Section 1, and with four wins out of four, they virtually assured themselves of a place in the play-off round, where the winners of Section 1 face the winners of Section 2 for the right to play the winners of Section 3 in the final.

Elsewhere, the Under 19s had one of their most difficult fixtures of the season, away to Stenhousemuir, and had to settle for a point. David Aitken scored our goal in a 1-1 draw at Ochilview.
