Livingston striker Iain Russell celebrated his ninth goal in 10 games as the Lions sealed a 2-0 win at Raith Rovers.
The Livi hitman netted from the penalty spot 20 minutes into the match after Rovers' defender Eddie Malone handled the ball.
Stefan Scougall, Craig Barr and Russell all missed chances to add to the scoring.
But 10 minutes before the interval, Scougall fired home the second with a deflected strike, handing Livi a two-goal lead at the break.
Raith Rovers came out fighting in the second half, but Andy McNeil was equal at everything Raith threw at him.
Greig Spence, Malone and Brian Graham all had opportunities to peg Livi back, but the Lions held strong and emerged with the three points.
Livingston remain third in the Scottish First Division.
