A final chance for our first team players to get match practice before Saturday's Ramsdens Cup tie against Berwick Rangers was washed out last night (Tuesday).

A closed door friendly against local amateur side Harvester AFC got underway at the Energy Assets Arena but was abandoned after only ten minutes as a deluge of extremely heavy rain hit the local area.

The pitch was playable at kick off time but the conditions worsened rapidly and when a halt was called the ball was being caught up by surface water.

By that stage we were already a goal to the good, Marc McNulty heading home a Mark Burchill cross inside two minutes.
