Craigroyston 0 - 4 Livingston XI

Our Development squad produced a very good team performance to defeat East of Scotland League side Craigroyston at St Mark's Park in Edinburgh this evening.

On a very dry, hard pitch our youngsters played some excellent football at times, making good use of the ball to retain possession and create chances.

The only goal of the first half came from Scott Wilson, who has been in good scoring form during pre-season.  He was teed up by Danny Mullen and found the net from the edge of the penalty area.

Jack Downie doubled our lead just after half time with an exquisite chip which found the top corner.

Mark Burchill enjoyed a run out in the final 25 minutes or so and he was quickly on the scoresheet after replacing Kyle Lander.  Another sub, Dylan Clark rounded off a good win from close range inside the final minute.

Livingston XI: Walker (Taylor 80), Tufail, Rutherford, Black, Hastings, Murphy, Mullen (Davie 64), Downie (Currie 75), Lander (Burchill 67), Trialist (Clark 64), Wilson (Hunter 75).
