Our young players bounced back from a heavy defeat to Dundee to beat Hamilton Accies in the third place match of Broxburn Athletic's Fairbairn Joiners and Builders Invitational Tournament on Sunday afternoon.

We established a two goal half time lead against an Accies side with a similar age profile to our own, with Kyle Lander getting both goals.

Accies battled back to equalise with two goals inside seven second half minutes, but we emerged victorious thanks to a David Bonnar goal in the 80th minute.

The win meant that we secured third place in the four-team tournament, which was won by Broxburn Athletic.
