Nine for U19's in Dumbarton rout

Livingston's high flying under 19's team recorded another impressive victory on Sunday, running out 9-1 winners over Dumbarton in the SFL Under 19 Youth Division.

Kyle Jacobs opened the scoring after 10 minutes before Joe McKee and Gordon Smith made it three. Kyle then made it 4-0 to the young Lions just before the interval, with second half goals from McKee again, Andrew Halliday, Conor Thomson, substitute Sean Kerr and a second of the day from Gordon Smith.

Another notable stat from the match was that all four of the Jacobs brothers - Keaghan, Sheldon, Kyle and Devon - were part of the squad on the day. They sadly didn't all get on the park at the same time though, as Keaghan replaced Kyle midway through the second half.

The under 19's line-up was McDowall, D Jacobs, Malone, McCabe (Trialist 56), Hastings, Halliday, McKee, Sinclair, Smith, Kyle Jacobs (Keaghan Jacobs 66) and Thomson (Kerr 66).

The under 17's had a day to forget when one of their players suffered a broken leg midway through the second half of their match with Dunfermline. Livi were 5-3 up at the time and the match was subsequently abandoned. Everyone at the club wishes the player a full and speedy recovery.
