Chris Innes adds a wealth of experience to a relatively youthful Livingston team, having spent the majority of his career in the Scottish Premier League.
Having started his career at local side Blackburn United, Chris turned professional with Stenhousemuir, before joining Kilmarnock in 1998. He spent five years at Rugby Park, punctuated only by two brief loan spells in 1999 at St Mirren and Falkirk.
Following two years at Dundee United, Chris then dropped down the divisions to lead Gretna to the top flight, the UEFA Cup and a Scottish Cup final appearance.
The dream turned sour for the Gretna captain though and, following his release prior to the Black and White's demise, he was free to join Livingston in the summer of 2008, despite the attentions of Dundee and MLS side Red Bull New York. |
