Local businessman calls for community support

LOCAL businessman James Kilday has spoken out in favour of Livingston Football Club and its Chairman Angelo Massone this afternoon - and has called on other local businesses to show their support for the club.

Mr Kilday asked for a special meeting with the Chairman this afternoon after reading in the press over recent days about reported troubles behind the scenes at the club.

In his meeting, Mr Kilday asked direct questions to the Chairman regarding the club's position and the help it needed from the local community to ensure a successful future.

Following on from his positive appointment with Massone, Mr Kilday has urged the local business community to rally behind the club and show its support for West Lothian's only professional football club.

Kilday has also invited those with questions about the assurances he received, or those with concerns about the stability of the club and the effect it could potentially have on their business if they became involved, to contact him directly on 07916 146719.
