To clarify the Ticketmaster System

Over next the 6-12 months we will have operator free barcode entry systems in the turnstiles. All tickets will come with a unique barcode which will allow you to gain access in to the stadium. This will help fans get through the turnstiles far quicker than previous methods.

Tickets will be available to download at home or straight on to your phone via the Ticketmaster online system which will come with the unique barcode that is needed to gain entry via the entry system.

From late October 2018 you will be able to buy your ticket online and pick them up prior to the game from the Livingston FC ticket office.

The full implementation of the Ticketmaster project has been broken into 3 phases below to give a clear understanding to all supporters.

Phase 1: For the club to install the Ticketmaster System we have had to upgrade our incoming broadband lines, we have successfully done this with the help of BT Local Business. BT Business are now providing the club with a guaranteed 100meg download which will be apportioned appropriatley for the smooth running of the ticket-master system and the football club and it’s valued supporters on match days. We are delighted to report this phase will be completed the week commencing 17th September.

Phase 2: The club have to provide a Local Area Network (LAN) to every turnstile along with our ticket office. The scale for the completion of this task is 3-6 months. We hope to have this phase finished by late November.

Phase 3: Installation of the Ticketmaster Barcode reader to every turnstile and integrate this with the turnstile to allow every fan entry into the stadium with their ticket. We hope to have this all up and running by late May 2019, early June 2019. This will allow ample time to go through a series of tests with all turnstiles in order to get them fully operational for the 2019-20 season. This will allow all fans the ability to purchase season tickets, Meadowbank Tickets etc from the comfort of their own home.

John Ward, Chief Executive, said “This is and has been a massive project that we have undertaken, it will only enhance the fans experience on a matchday and make tickets available 24/7 to all supporters.

“I honestly can’t see any downside to this system. Hibernian FC have been using this system for a number seasons and the feedback is extremely positive and has helped them streamline this side of the business while enhancing the experience for the supporter on a match day.”
