QOS matchday information
For all those travelling to Dumfries on Saturday, here’s some handy information courtesy of Queen of the South FC:
Turnstile numbers for visiting fans, section of the ground
Rosefield Salvage Stand section 6 and 7 have been set aside for Livingston FC supporters. Turnstile 3 will be in use. The catering outlet in the Rosefield home end will be available for use of Livingston supporters. Catering is also available in the Arena café where a full menu is available before kick-off.
Tickets, location of sales & entry cost
Entry is by ticket only. The home ticket office will be open for use of both home and away supporters and is situated adjacent to Rosefield Stand turnstile numbers 1 and 2. In addition, supporters who choose to park in the Arena car park have access to a ticket office at that location.
Ticket prices are:
Adult £16, OAP’s £9, U-16’s £5, Adult accessible £8, Concession accessible £5, U16 accessible £3.
Car Parking/Bus Parking and any on-street restrictions
It is suggested that buses/minibuses drop off their passengers in Terregles St/King Street and thereafter park on College Mains road just off the roundabout with the A76 on the town bypass (adjacent to Curry’s/PC World, as the other side at Aldi is the access road to the ambulance depot and is extremely busy). Pick up should be the same location.
Any local roadworks etc. that may cause delays
There are no known roadworks in the area that will cause any delays.
Disabled access
Wheelchair access for away supporters is on the south side of Rosefield stand. There is a layby on King Street for vehicles to drop their passengers for flat access to the ground. Disabled parking is available on the north side of the Rosefield Stand. The cost of entry of 1 personal assistant is included in the price of the accessible ticket.
Specific advice for away fans in respect of condition of entry e.g. searching policy, unacceptable behaviour?
QOS have adopted a robust search policy for spectators entering the ground to ensure that ground rules and regulations are strictly adhered to. Palmerston Park is a non-smoking venue. This includes e cigarettes and other such devices. Stewards are empowered to eject spectators who disobey these rules. All spectators are requested to abide by our unacceptable behavior policy.
Queen of the South FC look forward to hosting you at Palmerston and wish you a safe and enjoyable journey to and from our stadium. Further information can be accessed via our website qosfc.com and social media.
