Welcome aboard Steve Lawson
Livingston FC is delighted to announce the signing of Togo internationalist, Steve Lawson.
Caretaker manager David Martindale said “We have had Steve in for a few weeks now, and have been working away quietly to conclude a deal with the player and his agent which will now see him continue his career at Livingston for the next few seasons.
“Steve can play a number of positions, but is predominantly a defensive centre midfielder. He is a dynamic, athletic player, with pace and a great range of passing.
“He has 6 international caps for Togo, and most recently played in the Swiss Championship for Neuchâtel Xamax, who gained promotion to the Swiss Super League last season. Steve had the option to stay but choose Livingston over a host of other clubs. His desire to break into the UK market helped capture his signature.
“His international clearance is through and I’m excited to see what Steve can add to our already strong squad.”
