Aymen Souda Departs
Livingston FC can confirm that midfielder Aymen Souda has tonight left the club.
Since joining from Romanian side Dunarea Calarasi in July 2019, Aymen has gone on to make 27 appearances, scoring 4 times.
With game time having been limited to just two substitute appearances so far this campaign, an agreement has been reached to allow Aymen to move on in search of more regular game time.
Head of Football Operations David Martindale said: “Since joining the club, Aymen has come in and his attitude and application on a daily basis has continued to be first class.
“There is no doubt it took him a while to adapt to Scottish football and our methods at the club but he continued to work hard throughout his time here.
“It would be fair to say that Aymen has been missing home and COVID-19 played a huge part as to how he was feeling. He can’t get back to France whilst playing at Livingston due to the current quarantine protocols.
“After a series of chats with Aymen it became clear that the best solution for all was a mutual termination of the players contract.
“Thanks for everything Aymen and we wish you nothing but success in the future.”
