Disabled Supporters Working Group
Since his appointment in 2021, Livingston’s Disability Access Officer Colin Williamson has been extremely active.
Colin was keen to get the views of disabled supporters of their match day experiences. What were the barriers and challenges they came up against? How could things change to make a real difference? So he set up a Disabled Supporters Working Group made up of Disabled supporters, individuals with long term health conditions, such as Autism and their Carers.
Over the last couple of years the group has met regularly to come up with ideas to make visiting the Tony Macaroni Arena on match day for disabled supporters a positive one. They have also explored a number of initiatives to engage and form links with the wider community of West Lothian.
The group would like to hear from you if you have a disability or long term health condition in order that we can expand and grow.
