This weekend we are still on the road as we face Dundee FC at Dens Park. Both teams are coming off the back of draws, we are coming off the back of a 0-0 and the hosts are coming from a 1-1 draw at home. So, we will be looking to turn previous results into wins and grab a result away from home. 

Our 0-0 came away to Aberdeen, where we showed our defensive strengths to keep our first clean sheet in 6 matches. We have won 1 out of the last 5 matches and scored 4 goals during that run. We look to climb up that table sitting in 7th while others compete in the League Cup this weekend. We hope to get back to winning ways after our draw and grab a positive result against a stubborn opposition.

Dundee is coming off a 1-1 home draw against Motherwell, coming from 1-0 down to split the shares last weekend.  They have scored 3 goals in their last 5 matches, have kept 1 clean sheet during that run too but also haven’t lost to us in the last in the last 3 matches. Despite a tough start to the season, they have begun to find their feet and started picking up some points, so they’ll be a difficult opposition for the lions this weekend.

The key players for this match will be Tete Yengi, who impressed last weekend, with his attacking presence, he will be looking to open his account for the season. Another key player for this match will be Danny Wilson, an experienced defender who will be looking to keep that back door shut and limit the chances to the hosts.

In the last 5 matches between the sides, the hosts have the upper hand by winning 3 of the last 5 matches and us winning 2 times. The last game was a 4-1 loss back in January 2024. Our last win against Dundee came in May 2022, when we secured a 2-1 win at home. So, we will be looking to get a win over the hosts and get a positive result away at a tough ground.
