Fans offered chance to own a virtual piece of the Home of the Set Fare Arena
Livingston FC supporters are being offered the opportunity to own a digital piece of the hallowed Home of the Set Fare Arena turf following the launch of an innovative new virtual pitch platform at the ground of Livingston FC.
Sportli, in partnership with Livingston FC, are giving Livi’ fans a chance to claim their own digital half-square metre patch of the pitch where legends like Scott Pittman, Keaghan Jacobs and David Bingham have become local heroes.
As Sportli official launch partners in the Scottish Championship, supporters can own digital patches of the pitch on which history has been made throughout the decades, and Livingston club captain Jamie Brandon was on hand to help launch Sportli at the Home of Set Fare Arena.
Captain Brandon said: “This looks like a really unique option for fans to get involved with and gives something a bit different to look out for on a matchday, hoping that there’s a key pass or a goal scored from your chosen patch.
“Hopefully I’ll grab my first home goal as club captain soon and someone will enjoy the moment even more if it happens on their patch!”
Fans not only receive an immediate digital e-certificate anywhere in the world, but also a physical framed certificate – which can be shipped globally, with all UK shipping free. Each certificate contains a QR code, which allows you to zoom in on your own square of the pitch. Each digital piece is owned for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Gordon Stevenson, Sportli founder, said: “Owning a virtual patch at the Home of the Set Fare Arena is more than just a novelty — it’s about connecting fans to the heart of local football. This platform allows supporters to feel a deeper connection to the pitch where so many unforgettable moments have happened. It’s a way for fans to show their passion and be part of the legacy of Livingston FC. With Sportli.org, we’re giving fans a unique chance to claim their own piece of football history, bringing them closer to the game they love and helping to support our clubs for future generations.”
Dave Black, Chief Executive Officer of Livingston Football Club said: “I’m excited to partner with Gordon and his team at Sportli to launch this new opportunity for our supporters. As official Sportli launch partners in the Scottish Championship, we wanted to be first to bring this new sponsorship technology to our loyal fans.
“This is a unique product which brings the fans closer to the club – and also acts as a terrific gift idea for those with Livi-loving family members who already have all the usual merchandise.
“Knowing that the Scottish FA were also keen to work alongside Sportli gave us further confidence in the proposal and we look forward to seeing how this grows over the coming year with the help of our supporters.”
Each virtual patch costs £29.99 for the year, including both your e-certificate and physical, framed certificate, with a discounted 3-year price of £49.99.
