Hamilton match preview
This Saturday, we will be at back at home, at the Home of the Set Fare Arena as we welcome Hamilton in a 3rd vs 8th encounter.
Both teams are coming off wins in last weekend’s cup action. We are coming into this one off the back of a thrilling 3-2 win away to Ross County. We are looking to maintain our strong form at home in the league. Coming off a last-minute winner in the last weekends Scottish Cup game, we showed great fight against Premiership opposition to get the win to book us into the next round.
Hamilton will also come into this game off the back of a Scottish Cup win, with a 3-1 win to Musselburgh Athletic. They have scored 9 goals in their last 5 games, and they will be looking to continue that goal scoring run. However, they have not kept a clean sheet in 9 matches.
The key men for us are Andrew Shinnie, who came off the bench to score the winner against Ross County and will looking to add more goals to his game. Another is Robbie Muirhead, who made the SPFL TOTW for his performance last weekend and opening the scoring and grabbing another goal.
In the last five meetings between the two sides, Livingston have had the upper hand by winning 4 of the 5 games. The last encounter saw an impressive 3-1 win for the Lions in the league in November. Hamilton and Livingston have not drawn any of their last 7 matches against each other.
