This weekend we are still on the road as we face Hibernian at Easter Road in the capital. Both teams are coming off the back of different results – we are coming off a 1-1 away draw against Dundee United, a Pittman goal in the first half was cancelled out just 3 minutes into the second half, so we shared the spoils.

We have not won in the last 7 matches as we grabbed our first point in two games and scoring 5 goals during that run and have conceded 8. We look to continue to bounce back from that draw and climb up that table sitting in 9th, just 2 points behind our hosts. We hope to get back to winning ways after our draw and grab a positive result against tough opposition.

Hibernian is coming off a 1-0 away loss in the Edinburgh derby, the hosts conceded a 91st minute goal to give them a derby day loss and their 1st league defeat sitting 7th in the league, they have not won in their last 8 games and haven’t scored in their last 2, so they will be looking to bounce back from their derby defeat and grab a positive result in front of their home fans. They have scored 5 goals in their last 5 matches and have kept just 1 clean sheet during that run too.

The key players for this match will be Jerome Prior, who won POTM for his excellent shot-stopping and big presence. He has made an incredible start to the season and looks to continue his form against challenging opponents. Another key player for this match will be Scott Pittman, who was back to goal-scoring ways in last weekend’s match his runs from midfield will help the team create space as well as help to score and hopefully grab a good result.

In the last 5 matches between the sides, it’s the hosts have the upper hand by winning 3, with 1 draw and a win for us. The last game was a 2-0 loss back in August 2025 in the Premier Sports Cup. Our last win against the Edinburgh side did come at Easter Road with a 3-2 win back in August 2024. So, we will be looking to repeat that over our hosts and grab a positive result away from home.
