Job Opportunity: Maintenance Operative

Location: Home of the Set Fare Arena, Livingston
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, with additional hours on match weeks)
Salary: Competitive, with annual holiday entitlement

We’re seeking a versatile and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team.

This hands-on role requires a multi-skilled individual with experience across a wide range of maintenance disciplines. From routine upkeep to emergency repairs, your work will help ensure our stadium remains in top condition for players, staff, and supporters.

Key Responsibilities

As part of a small, close-knit team, your role will include (but is not limited to):

• Performing general maintenance and repair tasks around the stadium
• Undertaking carpentry, painting, and electrical work
• Installing and maintaining appliances (e.g. washing machines, dishwashers)
• Conducting minor plumbing repairs
• Installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and contributing to fire safety
• Handling basic stadium maintenance, including seating, lighting, and fittings
• Liaising with and supervising external contractors
• Diagnosing issues and identifying effective repair solutions
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Assisting with emergency call-outs and audits

You will also be required to work all home matches for the men’s first team, contributing to the operational success of matchdays.

• Proven experience in a general maintenance or multi-trade role
• A problem-solver with strong practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, proactive and adaptable approach to tasks
