The club secured backup for Darren Jamieson this afternoon with the signing of former Cheltenham Town goalkeeper Matt Gould.

The 21 year old English-Kiwi penned a contract which will see him remain at Almondvale for the next year.

“Matt has trained with us for the last 3-4 weeks” said manager Mark Burchill on conclusion of the deal.

“He has shown an unbelievable attitude in wanting to prove himself good enough for us, and has the ability and personality needed to push Darren for the Number One spot.

“We are delighted to get him tied-up.”
