New Kit Partnership for the Lions
Livingston FC is delighted to announce an exciting new, 3-year kit partnership with Spanish teamwear giants Joma Sport and Scottish teamwear experts, The Soccer Shop:Direct.
Following the conclusion of our existing deal with Nike and Just Sport, the club spoke with a number of brands and retailers to determine what would be the best fit moving forward and it was quickly clear to see that a tri-party agreement with Joma Sport and The Soccer Shop:Direct was going to be the most beneficial for both the club and our supporters.
We’re also pleased to confirm that we’ll be launching bespoke shirts for both home and away going forward, with the replica kits starting from a 2 year child size right through to a 4XL adult size meaning we’ll have our biggest offering of sizes in a long, long time. We’ll have more details in terms of new kit unveil and launch dates soon.
Our new retail partners, The Soccer Shop:Direct, will be taking over the running of the club shop and the online offering with the club shop set for a revamp ahead of the 2021/22 season. As we head into the summer, we’ll provide a further update in terms of opening days and times.
As well as the new, replica kits, the team at The Soccer Shop:Direct will be offering a range of Joma training and leisurewear as well as a host of accessories and exciting extras.
Alongside our mens team, our women’s teams will also be wearing the same Joma match kits going forward too.
Business Development Manager Dave Black said: “Having joined the club from the world of football team wear, I’ve had years of dealings with both Joma Sport and Andrew Barrowman and knew that, given the opportunity, reintroducing the club with Joma would be a great chance for us to improve the range we can offer to fans as well as kitting the players out in kit that they’ll like wearing.
“Dean and Paul from The Soccer Shop:Direct have been incredibly enthusiastic about their plans for the club and I’m sure supporters will be impressed with the level of service that our new retail partner will offer.
“A big thank you to Andrew, Dean and Paul for their work in getting this agreement in place and I look forward to a successful partnership for all involved over the next three years.”
First-Team Manager David Martindale said: “I’m delighted with the deal and really looking forward to seeing the 2021-22 kit on the players.
“Having had a brief look at the new strips I think they will be a massive hit with the players and fans.
“Thanks very much to Andy and Joma & Dean and The Soccer Shop:Direct.
“Lastly, but not least, I would like to thank Dave Black who has been pivotal in making all this happen.”
Joma Sport Senior Brand Manager and former Livingston striker, Andrew Barrowman said: “Joma Sport are extremely excited to re-establish our partnership with Livingston Football Club. We enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship in the past, spanning from 2014-2017. Looking on from the outside it has been great to see the fantastic progress made by the club both on and off the pitch. We are all very proud that the club has chosen to join the Joma Sport family once again, the club and its staff have shown a relentless determination for progress in recent years and we look forward to helping to play our part in continuing this drive.
The exciting new partnership sees The Soccer Shop:Direct become the clubs official retail partner. With some impressive plans in place, I think it’s fair to say the Livi fans are going to be delighted with the new retail offering. We all look forward to launching the new kits and seeing the team perform in the Joma brand on the pitch.”
