New Safety Officer & Assistant Safety Officer Appointed
It’s not just a new player we’re announcing this week, with the club also pleased to confirm the appointment of Tommy Tague and Ann Tague as our new Safety Officer and Assistant Safety Officer.
Tommy and Ann join the club with a wealth of experience having both served in the police force for over 25 years each.
Tommy retired as a Superintendent after 30 years police experience in the Metropolitan Police, Lothian and Borders Police and National Agency. During this time, Tommy was a Senior Investigating Officer for serious and major crime and other specialist departments. He has held various senior roles within West Lothian and over the years has worked as a match commander at Livingston FC and in Edinburgh.
Since retiring, Tommy has delivered Police training in the UAE and for 6 years has been a National Safe guarder with Children First, protecting the wellbeing and human rights of children under the age of 18.
Tommy said: “I’m an avid football follower and jumped at the opportunity to work with and support this very committed and dedicated Club”
Ann retired in March 2020 after 25 years police experience with Lothian and Borders Police, Police Scotland and a National Agency.
Ann worked in various departments over the 25 years including Community Policing, Public Protection Investigations and Management of Offenders, most of this in the West Lothian area. Ann also spent time with a National Agency investigating National and International Cybercrime.
Ann was a trainer at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan and delivered specialist courses nationally to police and private and public sector students. Ann also currently volunteers with the West Lothian Dinner Ladies too, a charity that has been supported by Livingston FC in recent years.
We wish them both the very best of luck in their new roles with the club and have no doubt they’ll be huge assets for us this season and beyond.
