News | Pre-Season Camp
As part of our preparations for the upcoming campaign, our Men’s first-team squad will head to the Netherlands later this week for a pre-season training camp.
The week-long trip will give an opportunity for faces new and old to get some valuable training time, as we build towards our Premier Sports Cup group stage fixtures and our return to the Premiership. The camp will also provide David Martindale and his backroom staff the opportunity to run the rule over several trialists joining the squad for the week.
The squad will head south on Sunday 29th June, taking part in sessions throughout the week in the Dutch sunshine. As part of the camp, we’ll play two friendly matches; Greek side Aris FC, who finished fifth last season, qualifying for the UEFA Conference League, are our first opponents in Rotterdam on Thursday 3rdJuly. We then round the week off with a friendly against Belgian Challenger Pro League side K.V. Kortrijk on Saturday 5th July, in Roosendaal. Both matches will be played behind closed doors.
The squad then return to Scotland on Sunday 6th July, ahead of our opening fixture of the campaign away to East Fife in the Premier Sports Cup on Saturday 12th July.
We’ll bring you the results of our ongoing preparations throughout the week.
