Pyrotechnics
Livingston Football Club would like to remind supporters that pyrotechnics are strictly forbidden from the Tony Macaroni Arena – and recent legislation makes the possession of such at any football game a criminal offence.
Unfortunately, there were two arrests made following Saturday’s victory over St Mirren due to the use of flares in the home end. Whilst we understand that fans might see these as adding colour and atmosphere to games, the football club has a duty to ensure safety and security within the stadium and the delivery of a safe and secure event.
As mentioned, taking pyrotechnics into a sporting stadium is a criminal offence and we’d ask supporters to be mindful of the impact it could have on those around them, particularly people with medical conditions, young children, and elderly.
Your support in recent weeks has been incredible and has helped push the players on to back-to-back victories – we urge you all to continue to join us, roar the players on but to do so in a safe manner for all.
