We are delighted to announce the season-long-loan signing of defender Adam Montgomery from fellow William Hill Premiership side Celtic for the 2025/26 campaign.

Adam is a product of the Glasgow side’s youth system and has already gained vital first-team experience in Scotland during loan spells with Aberdeen, St.Johnstone, Motherwell and most recently Queen’s Park, as well as a short stint south of the border with Fleetwood Town.

With 20 appearances to his name for his parent club too, Adam joins the club having previously featured in the Champions League, Europa League, Premiership and League Cup for Celtic.

The 23-year-old predominantly plays left back, but will add a real level of versatility to the Lions squad, and will be wearing the number 3 shirt for the season.
