We are happy to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jamie Smith from Hamilton Academical on a short-term deal to the end of the season.

The young shot-stopped joins to provide cover for Jack Hamilton who is currently side-lined with an ankle injury and will wear the number 32 shirt.

Smith, 23, started his career with the Lanarkshire side, rising through the youth academy to make 38 appearances for the first team, as well as loan spells with Rossvale, Broomhill, Blackburn United and most recently Annan Athletic, where he made 35 appearances last season.

Capped three times at U17 level with Scotland, Jamie joins with great potential and will back up Jerome Prior.
