We are thrilled to welcome German national Jannik Wanner to West Lothian, joining for an undisclosed fee from Austrian side SKU Amstetten.

The attacker joins on a 3-year deal and becomes our eighth signing of the summer.

Born in Port-au_prince, Haiti, the 25 year old arrives at the Home of the Set Fare Arena following a career based in Germany and Austria.

He made his senior debut with TSV Berg, winning promotion and scoring three goals in his spell there before switching to Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. Playing in the Austrian league despite being based in Germany, he would spend one season there before returning to Berg. Wanner then moved to FV Illertissen, making 44 appearances for the German side, with performances that had his previous club Bregenz calling. He moved back to them and made 30 appearances before being picked up by SKU Amstetten. 32 games and 10 goals alerted manager David Martindale, who was keen to secure the wingers services here in Scotland.
