We’re delighted to announce the signing of Mo Sylla, who joins the Lions on a 3-year contract from fellow Premiership club Dundee.

The 31 year old spent two seasons with the Tayside club, making 67 appearances in midfield.

The Frenchman started his career at L’Entente SSG, racking up 115 appearances and 6 goals before moving to England with Oldham Athletic. He spent a single season with The Owls amassing 51 appearances before opting to return to France with Laval.

In October 2021, Sylla signed for Aldershot Town, putting in a Player of the Year performance and earning a move to Hartlepool United, notching up 42 appearances in League Two and attracting interest from Dundee. He signed a two-year deal with the Dark Blues and became a firm fan favourite over his time with them.

Mo becomes David Martindale’s 7th summer signing and joined up with his new teammates when they returned for pre-season training yesterday.
