Squad Update | Tamm’s the man as Alex joins the Lions

We’re pleased to welcome Alex Tamm to the Home of the Set Fare Arena on a loan deal until the end of the season. The Estonian striker joins from Slovenian PrvaLiga side Olimpija Ljubljana and is available for selection for Saturday’s game against Kilmarnock, subject to international transfer clearance and SFA approval.
The 24-year-old started his career in the Esiliiga B in with Nomme Kalju U21 in his home nation of Estonia. Making 41 appearances, Tamm scored 20 times, showing from an early age a good goal scoring pedigree.
Tamm continued this form when he moved to the first team who play in the Meistriliiga league, where he spent six years, making 171 appearances and scoring an impressive 87 goals. He moved to Olimpija Ljubljana in January 2025 following the expiry of his contract, playing 9 times and scoring 4 goals, including a debut goal after eight minutes.
Alex is also capped for Estonia 19 times and comes with a wealth of experience and a goalscoring prowess the club hope can continue in Scotland. He’ll wear the number 21 shirt for the Lions.
Welcome on board, Alex!
