We’re pleased to announce that midfielder Andrew Shinnie has agreed to become a first-team player-coach, joining the coaching staff for the remainder of the season, whilst also remaining available for selection as part of the playing squad.

Having recently stepped into a coaching role with our under-19 side, and having achieved his UEFA B License, Shinnie will now also double up as a player-coach within the first-team set-up.

With over 150 appearances for the Lions alone, as well as a career spanning two decades and over 450 appearances both north and south of the border, the 36-year-old isn’t short on experience which he can offer both his teammates and now, the coaching staff too.
