As an illustration of how everyone is stepping up to support the Club, our Honorary President John Bain BEM, brought members of the Operations Committee together with local and national politicians to discuss the direction the Football Club is heading and to look at ways of re-establishing the strong partnership which used to exist between Club and Council.

Among the issues which John raised was the current stadium rent and the formula which the Council uses to calculate the rent at the start of each season.

As Supporters know, John continues to defy the years and was a regular fixture at home matches last season. Bringing his vast experience to bear in Club affairs will only strengthen the Club’s strategic planning.
