Thank You, West Lothian Litter Pickers!
We were delighted to welcome along a number of volunteers from the West Lothian Litter Pickers to Saturday’s game with Kilmarnock.
The group carry out some fantastic work both around the stadium and around West Lothian as a whole, picking, bagging and binning litter sadly left lying by locals day after day.
We welcomed 40 volunteers along as guests to the game, with the group also carrying out a bucket collection before the game which helped them raise £233.50 on the day. Chief executive John Ward also presented Kai and Lochy from the group with a shirt signed by the team which they managed to auction of, raising a further £150 for the group too.
You can check out their Facebook page for details on helping out here – https://www.facebook.com/groups/wllpaltg/
Of course, simply keeping a hold of your rubbish and either disposing in your own bin or using any of the many local bins around the county would help the group hugely. Livingston is your town – look after and be proud of it.
